Jimmy has been recording and performing music for over 20 years. With a sound reminiscent of the Dave Mathews Band, John Prine, and Sting, JG strives to tell a story with his music. He has built up a large loyal fan base with his very unique and original blend of folk and art rock recordings, virtuoso guitar playing and stunning live performances. As a performing artist, JG has shared bills with some of his biggest influences including Tom Petty, Santana, The Nixons, Tim Reynolds, and Bob Schneider, to name just a few. As a a staff musician and producer at Lava, Jimmy contributes original compositions, guitar playing and vocals on music tracks for all types of projects ranging from new artist development to original film soundtrack work.
